Gideon R. Kotzé is Research Professor in the Focus Area Ancient Texts: Text, Context, and Reception at Faculty of Theology of North-West University. He is the author of Images and Ideas of Debated Readings in the Book of Lamentations (2020) and the coeditor of The Septuagint South of Alexandria (2022).

Michaël N. van der Meer is an independent biblical studies scholar and teacher of religious education at Hermann Wesselink College, Amstelveen. He is the author of Formation and Reformulation: The Redaction of the Book of Joshua in the Light of the Oldest Textual Witnesses (2004) and several edited volumes on the Septuagint, including two previous IOSCS congress volumes.

Martin Rösel is Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament at the University of Rostock, Germany and Professor Extraordinary at the University of Stellenbosch. He was author and coeditor for Septuaginta Deutsch (the German translation of the Septuagint with commentary volumes). Rösel has authored and published numerous articles and books on the Septuagint and other fields of ancient and modern Bible translations and is editor of the series Septuagint and Cognate Studies.
